These cookie dough balls have been my latest obsession… I love them so much that I’ve already made a second batch even though I made the first batch on Tuesday! The recipe comes from The Oh She Glows Cookbook by Angela Liddon which is my absolute favorite cookbook. If you don’t own it, you can order it online. I promise you won’t regret it! Since receiving my copy, I’ve been making at least 3-4 recipes from the book per week and I have loved every single one.
For the cookie dough balls, I opted for the nut-free option which calls for sunflower seed butter instead of peanut butter and substitutes the almond flour with extra oat flour. I also did half the batch with Enjoy Life chocolate chips (pictured above) and then half the batch with cacao nibs for a healthier, refined-sugar version. I love them with the cacao nibs and appreciate that I don’t get a sugar rush from them so I definitely reccomend trying that you stay away from sugar like I do.
If you are dying to make these now and don’t have the cookbook yet, you can try Oh She Glow’s blog recipe for cookie dough balls found here. The recipes do differ though so keep that in mind. I am sure they are just as delicious though since Angela Liddon’s recipes never disappoint!
