Last Saturday, Thomas and I spent the early evening at Balboa Park. It’s a great place to visit, no matter how many times you’ve been before. Balboa Park is expansive so there’s plenty to see and also many museums to check out. What I really love though, is the old architecture in the park, it’s truly beautiful. It’s also a gorgeous place to have a picnic, I can’t until it’s warmer and less breezy out to do that! We had intended to visit the Japanese Tea Garden but that closed early so went down to the rose garden instead. It was a great time to go because all the flowers were in bloom!
I wore my Bruce Heart tee which is so soft and comfy! I paired it with my favorite black skinny jeans and Converse which is a go-to for me on the weekends. I discovered Bruce Heart through The Tree Kisser who has featured Bruce Heart’s designers, Rylee and Elle, as models for her line! This tee was only $25 which is such a steal! The promotion is still going on so be sure to check that out! Bruce Heart is donating 5% of their sales this month to Wildlife Waystation which is a non-profit animal sanctuary for native, wild, and exotic animals in the Los Angeles National Forest. Animal sanctuaries are crucial for orphaned, abandoned or injured animals to take refuge at and receive the care they need. It always makes me happy to discover new vegan brands that give back!
Hope you all had fun weekends! I was resting and recuperating from my wisdom tooth surgery, but I should be back to shooting for new posts later this week!
