It’s actually pretty easy to survive off of as a vegan since there is such an abundance of dairy free options these days. My favorite treat out of the bunch has been mint milkshakes! It’s so refreshing and soothing, I went through 2 pints of this ice cream in the past 2 weeks!

I love Coconut Bliss ice cream because they have such creative flavors and are not only vegan, but also organic! It’s made from coconut milk which gives it a rich, decadent taste that won’t leave you missing the dairy Besides the mint galactica flavor, my other fave is the chocolate peanut butter! It’s so good for when you need something extra indulgent!

I spruced this milkshake up with some fresh mint which really perks up the flavors! I also had to add a chocolate drizzle because you can never have too much chocolate! Serve this treat up for warm summer afternoons or as a late-night treat! You can’t go wrong with an old fashioned milkshake!

Dairy-Free Mint Chocolate Chip Milkshake by Vegan À La Mode (Vegan and Gluten-Free)

Dairy-Free Mint Galactica Milkshakes (Vegan and Gluten-Free)

Serves 2

Ingredients:

1 pint Coconut Bliss Mint Galactica Ice Cream*

3/4 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk

8-10 mint leaves, washed and patted dry

1/2 cup dairy-free chocolate chips

1/2 tablespoon coconut oil

Directions:

1. Add ice cream, almond milk, and mint leaves to the blender. Blend on high for about a minute. If consistency of milkshake is too thick, add a few tablespoons of almond milk and blend again.

2. Meanwhile, heat chocolate chips with coconut oil for 30-second intervals in the microwave. Stirring in between each interval. Once melted, drizzle into each glass.

3. Pour milkshakes into glasses and top with extra drizzle of chocolate sauce. Garnish with extra mint leaves if desired. Enjoy!

*Note: If you are allergic to coconut or simply don’t like it, feel free to substitute Coconut Bliss with an almond milk mint ice cream instead.
