With the Fourth of July being right around the corner, I figured today would be the perfect day to share my inspiration for the upcoming holiday! I’m sharing some recipes and looks that will help you have the perfect Fourth of July!
Vegan Strawberry & Blueberry Swirl Cheesecake by Blissful Basil
Blissful Basil‘s swirled cheesecake is on my menu for the holiday weekend. I love making festive desserts so I certainly can’t resist making this red, white and blue cheesecake.
Smoky Barbeque Sweet Potato Chickpea Burgers by The Vegan 8
The Vegan 8’s recipe for smoky barbeque sweet potato burgers are so perfect for the holiday weekend! These look so filling and they are totally healthy! Just serve them on gluten-free buns!
The Ultimate Vegan Chocolate Milkshake by VeguKate
When I saw VeguKate’s vegan chocolate milkshake, I was ready to rush over to the kitchen to make it! I love vegan milkshakes and can’t resist anything with chocolate so this is right up my alley! It’s already pretty patriotic looking but if you want to make it even more festive just top it with blueberries in addition to strawberries!
Cheezy Hasselback Potatoes by The Plant Strong Vegan
Potatoes are one of my favorite things to cook with! The possibilities of how to cook and eat them are endless! These cheezy hasselback potatoes from The Plant Strong Vegan definitely look 4th of July worthy!
Fourth of July outfit planning is always fun! Above are some of my favorite patriotic looks from ModCloth! I chose all looks from them because their clothes are always affordable and so cute! Plus they had a ton of red, white and blue looks! I think you can’t go wrong with a striped dress but I also really love the cutout front blue and white dress which is a bit unexpected. Another classic americana look is high-waist shorts with a striped top! The anchor print shorts are also so cute and would make for the perfect look either on the fourth or any summer day!
I hope this post helps inspire your menu and wardrobe for the upcoming holiday! What are you going to be doing for the fourth? Let me know in the comments!
