With fall right around the corner, stores have begun to swap out the florals for plaid and warmer colors are abundant. Since San Diego is nowhere near cooling down, shopping for coats and sweaters is not an option. Luckily I was able to find a fall-ready plaid dress which will transition well into the cooler season.
Dress: Maison Jules, Boots: Old Navy (Sold Out; Similar), Bag: Angela and Roi
As you all know, I’m a dress kind of girl. I am so suited to San Diego because I absolutely love being able to wear dresses all year long! There’s only about maybe two months per year where I have to wear a coat or tights. But I must admit, I love plaid patterns and warm tones for fall so I was excited to find a perfect fall dress.
I love Macy’s Maison Jules line because it’s all very Parisian meets Anthropologie for affordable prices! I always forget to shop there though since I do so much online shopping at Ruche! But I was at the mall the other day and decided to check out Macy’s to see what sales were going on. At first, I reached for this dress in a coral floral pattern but then I spotted the checked/plaid print and knew that was much more needed in my wardrobe! I paired it with my favorite vegan ankle boots and my pink Angela and Roi bag for a fall inspired look. If it does end up cooling down this fall, I can always wear this with tights and a cardigan. But I don’t see that happening anytime soon because it’s been in the 90s lately! While it feels like an endless summer in San Diego, I know some of you are living in places where it’s already feeling like fall so I’ve included some fall favorite pieces below!
