Plaid Shirt Days

Flannel plaid shirt from American Eagle

With Thanksgiving just a few days away, the feeling of fall is really setting in here in San Diego. I broke out my flannel plaid shirt from American Eagle and paired it with boots and skinny jeans for a cruelty-free fall look. One of my favorite parts of this season is definitely wearing cozy plaid shirts and over the knee socks. There’s simply nothing comfier and more festive!

Over the weekend, we hosted a vegan Friendsgiving and it was so fun! My best friend from high school came to stay with us and helped out with the cooking. She’s also a vegan so it was nice to get to bond over veganizing Thanksgiving classics. My friend Claire, also was a huge help and made gluten-free vegan stuffing! The three of us actually hosted a mini vegan Thanksgiving which I posted on last year. It was nice to be able to share the meals we loved so much last year with more people this year. The hit dishes were definitely the lentil loaf and stuffing! It was so nice to get to host in our new place :)

With that said, Sunday was a day spent relaxing and rejuvenating. Both Thomas and I were pretty exhausted so we enjoyed the day watching The Mindy Project (my new obsession) and eating leftovers. After spending the morning and afternoon relaxing, we headed to Balboa Park for an evening walk at golden hour. It was the perfect night for it because the skies were clear and we got to watch the gorgeous sunset. I hope you all had a happy weekend!
