After a busy but fun weekend spent celebrating Thanksgiving with my family, I returned to San Diego ready to unwind by relaxing in cozy clothes. I kept my casual look simple with stripes, a scarf, skinny jeans and my favorite cruelty-free bag by Angela & Roi for a lazy Sunday afternoon.

My favorite part about Thanksgiving is getting a day to reflect on all that I have in life that I can be grateful for. My amazing boyfriend, supportive family, kind friends, and cozy apartment are just a few things that initially come to mind. But really I have so much more to be thankful for. Around the holidays, it’s so easy to get caught up with “wants” between forming Christmas wishlists and Black Friday shopping, it’s easy to forget to be thankful for what we have. I always try to remind myself that I don’t need more, anything other materialistic items I desire like a new dress would just be a bonus, not a necessity
I hope you all got to have a wonderful holiday spent with your loved ones. I was lucky enough to have a fully vegan Thanksgiving dinner on my plate thanks to my amazing mom who cooked up all the recipes from my blog post last year. Plus, my grandma brought vegan and gluten-free dinner rolls, pumpkin bread, and coffee cake all from Starry Lane Bakery! It was so fun to get to have traditional holiday treats like that and I really appreciated her making sure that she would be bringing something I could enjoy. It’s the little things like that, that make you realize how great you have it. I also to thank those of you who read my blog! I am so lucky to be able to share my passion and connect with you guys so thank you
