Today I’m sharing photos from our day trip to Julian! We went to the pumpkin patch and explored the town’s fall colors.

On Saturday we headed to Julian for fall festivities. We started at the Cross Family Pumpkin Patch at the Julian Mining Company. When we first arrived, we were disappointed to not see the pumpkin patch in its usual spot. I figured we must be too late, although I found it weird it would close prior to Halloween, but as we were discussing it a kind worker spotted us looking about. She told us that the pumpkin patch was still open but just had moved to a bigger lot.
The new pumpkin patch is so impressive and exceeded my expectations! The pumpkins grow on the vine which is always so fun to see. They also had a cute little shop with rustic fall decor. I also loved the cute teepees scattered about the field. It’s really such a great pumpkin patch, especially for taking photos!
Next, we headed into Julian to walk around the town. Sadly, there weren’t quite as vibrant of fall colors as I was hoping for. Most of the trees were bare and lacking the orange-hued leaves I was hoping to see. But right at the end, we found the perfect tree with fall colored leaves so we had to stop to take photos. Of course, we also made a stop at Apple Alley Bakery for a vegan apple pie before leaving.
I made this Urban Outfitters dress fall-ready by pairing it with scrunchy over-the-knee socks and a cozy cardigan. I’ve also worn this dress 3 ways now; you can see all three here, here, and here. I’m really trying to reuse more pieces I already own and fall is the perfect time to do that by layering.
